I'm looking for chill people to start a band/project with with or join an already established one. I'm completely open when it comes to genres as long as it doesn't shy away from experimental, proggy or jazzy vibes.

There's also a wild chimera of an idea for a project I've had in mind for a very long time involving "modernizing" the Canterbury scene sound from bands such as Soft Machine, Caravan or Hatfield and the North and marrying it with Japanese city pop + themes from Japanese pop culture (I know... it couldn't be more niche hahaha)

Another one would be bridging the gap between improvised, moody jazz in the vein of ECM and harsher metal (Kayo Dot would probably come closest stylistically)

I should also mention that I started playing bass recently (beginner/intermediate level). Und (...) Mehr anzeigen ja, Deutsch spreche ich natürlich auch ;-) Weniger anzeigen

Musikalischer Werdegang

I've been playing drums for more than 10 years now and picked up the bass in 2021. In my late teens I played around with DAWs and wrote some amateurish prog metal and experimental stuff in the vein of King Crimson and Steve Reich, but kind of stopped due to lack of time. However, I always wanted to get back to it in a more professional manner and now seems like the right time for it :)
