Last Monday

"Last Monday" is a new band from Leipzig combining soulful melodies with hard rocking guitar playing; supported by grungy vibes and emotional lyrics.
Founded at a time where alcohol blurred our visions and a newcomer singer / songwriter was looking for her guitarist. Coincidentally this up and coming guitarist happened to be Abbey Tausendsacher who was looking for a voice and lyricist to give his songs heart and purpose.
The music that followed was a wild mixture of different styles. Funky riffs mixed with playful melodies ensure constant tension. Kathy's clear, emotional voice underlines the thoughtful lyrics wrapped up by Abbey's rocking solos. Even set in acoustic arrangements it is gritty, down to earth rock n roll.
