Qara

Qara is an alternative rock band hailing from Karlsruhe, Germany, known for their unique blend of Turkish and German lyrics. The name "Qara" carries a rich linguistic heritage, as it translates to "Dark" in Turkic languages, reflecting the band's depth and diversity in their music. Formed during the summer of 2023, the band consists of Eksan as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Emre on bass and backing vocals, and Lukas expertly handling the drums. A few months into their journey, Abhi joined the group as their lead guitarist.

Qara's musical influences are deeply rooted in the alternative rock scene of the 1990s and 2000s, drawing inspiration from both English and American grunge/alternative rock, as well as incorporating Turkish elements into their distinctive style.
