Tante Friedl

Tante Friedl is a duo folk music project based out of Bavaria Germany (and New York).
Magdalena Kriss and Dan Wall play music from all over the world. They picked up tunes and songs from other musicians and friends from different countries, so it happens that they sing and play music from the balkans, Eastern and Central Europe, Scandinavia, the Isles and North America. From the yodel to scat, ballads to protest songs, murder to love songs, Tante Friedl hopes to paint images and landscapes of far away lands, struggles and joys from different perspectives with care, grit and sweet harmony.
