Transceiver

TRANSCEIVER kombinieren sphärische Syntesizer-Sounds mit analogen und elektronischen Beats. Funk-Rock-Elemente treten ins Wechselspiel mit einer klaren Singstimme und resultieren in einem voll ausgeformten Sound. Die Band um Bassist Noel und Gitarrist Bart existiert seit 2004. Im Vorjahr stieß Sängerin Elke zu ihnen und verleiht TRANSCEIVER seither ihre unverwechselbare Stimme. Der patente Drummer Reinhard macht das Quartett komplett.

The story goes…
2002.. Noel, who had been actively playing in a band for several years, moved to Vienna where his intense passion for music drove him into creating it again.
Based on electronic beats and rhythms, he was experimenting mixing-up some funky grooves and melodies. It all seemed too dull though…something was missing!
This is when he decided to fi (...) Mehr anzeigennd a guitarist to pep-up his elektro grooves, which turned out to be
a mission…
He tried working with various guitarists, but none really came through. Until September 2004, when he met Bart, a Croatian now living in Vienna. Bart combined Funk and Rock in a way that appealed to Noel in a BIG way and working together was smooooth, a groovy connection!
They called themselves "Transeiver", and the next step was to find a vocalist. With this they took their time, interviewing and casting many, knowing that the right one will eventually come.
Her name was Elke…2006- the Band evolved as Reinhard (a drummer with a very distinctive and fascinating style) also joined them.

Presently "Transeiver" are investing all their energy in putting together their first album.. Weniger anzeigen
